Cultural and Linguistic Mediation

AEEN has a mediator whose role is to support migrant students in their school and social integration and help them learn and train Portuguese, if necessary. The mediator is also a bridge between the family and the school, being able to provide support in various situations, such as clarifying doubts about the functioning and rules of the school, customs of the host country or helping the person in charge of education in bureaucratic processes related to their student (accessing platforms, justifying absences, helping to communicate with teachers, promoting a healthy relationship between the student and their colleagues, among others).
